My Ride: 2005 530i Silver Gray/ Gray Leather. SP,PP
For those not familiar with my first build log here's the link https://5series.net/forums/topic/105...dio-build-log/
I decided to compete professionally this year and with that i decided to make some changes to the original system. Speakers and subwoofer enclosure are staying but i decided to get new amps and a new dsp.
For amps i decided to go with 2 BRAX MX4. According to AutoHifi, the world's best sounding amplifier they ever tested. http://www.braxhifi.com/products/rev...st_BraxMX4.pdf
Here's some pics of one of the bad boys. The build quality is ABSURD!!!!!!

Those Brax amps ARE the best amps you will ever find in a car, I have amps of the same factory sold under the name "Helix". In a previous car I had them setup with a Helix compo set in the front and 2x12" in the boot driven by a Alpine headunit, all aimed at sound quality. First year I competed I ended first in all classes, without much effort.
Be careful with your powersupply though, these amps can make all your lights blink on your beats :-D
Mount a capacitor per amp and perhaps a Yellowtop gel battery as well, fuse them right and you will never get out of your car anymore...
I'm looking forward to your pics of install and review of your SQ!
