2008 Sat Nav disk upgrade - UK

Hi, I have a 06-1 disk in my Nav at the moment but want to upgrade to a 08-2 disk because I believe it has POI, speed camera and 7 digit postcode info on it. I was reading a Ebay item and the guy was saying that the software needed an update to show all these items and he was supplying an upgrade disk.

Does anybody know if this is true or do you just get the 08-2 disk and all the info is on there?

There is no Speed Camera and full 7 digit postcode on the original BMW disc. That guy is selling a copy.
