When upgrading rims on a E60 M5 they MUST be 20's. 19's dont look good in my opinion

Come to think about it - and thanks to your response to the other thread - I guess I'll try my luck with "the usual" 245/35 and 275/30 tires.
Just throws me off that what he posted might be an M3 setup... weird. Would that actually work on his M5? Still waiting for his confirmation on the ETs...

Thanks, 525iEnjoy!
BTW,
Had no use for the nice Turner MS spacers (15mm) that I bought :-(
There's no way they possibly fit on the front without rubbing, Right now, the tires is as far out as can be... no way it could go out even 2 more mm...

However, the rears look like they could take another 10 or 12mm (to the n00b eye...).

Quite surprising, actually....
TR930 stated the offsets are (F) ET35 and (R) ET20 as they came off his M5, but it actually looks like the opposite on my car. I do not have "big brakes" and just the normal 530i fenders and the OEM Sport Suspension.

Then again, I have no experience whatsoever with these kinda things... still learning (and gladly paying the price :-) We'll see.

Will measure the rear gaps tomorrow. Who knows, maybe Michael/acute performance is kind enough to take 'em back/switch 'em for some 10mm spacer, or whatever I may need ... especially since they are still unopened in the package they came in. Gotta check with him later/tomorrow...

Anyways, love my setup! Really exciting to see the progress ....
