I havent expierence a slip.. or an idrive transmission failure.. so im not sure..

gasket leak on tranny will not cause any slippage or warning on idrive. best way is to lift it up and remove the under body cover and find out where the fluid is coming from. Make sure it's not coming from the mechatronix sleeve though because if it is, have to get that replace asap. Don't want it to go dry and damage the internal component.

It does sound good, but I agree. I have Remus exhaust on mine and it's very similar. Wish there were other options, but it seems to just be the tone of the engine.
