Nice setup. No doubt AFE makes quality intakes! Although, i doubt that you can make 27HP on the dual cone setup on a stock N54. It will be nice if you can do a before and after dyno to prove those numbers.

Didn't you notice any low end torque loss? It was noticeable when i installed the dual cone intakes on my car. Also, you have to really step on the gas to hear those turbos spool with your windows down. Can't hear them in a closed cabin. Just sharing my personal experience and i'm wondering if you experienced the same.
thanks. before and after dyno's would be ideal, but i'm researching someone who can do it locally.

i actually notice more low end torque, but really noticed it at higher rpm's. remember, once the hood is close...the dual cones are fully enclosed vs. the set up you tried which was sitting in the bay w/o any heat shields. as far as hearing the spooling, i haven't noticed it with the windows up. in all honesty, it's a novelty thing.....just as long as the performance is there.

Nice, I have been reading about it. It has been getting great reviews and huge dyno numbers. Totally v81/2.92 diagnostically hidden. Total plug and play, no external ground wires. The install pics look very clean. They put a lot thought into it. Less than half the price of the Dinan flash, with better hp gains and can easily be removed for service visits.
can you link me pls? i'll read up on it. thanks.

This is the plastic piece I'm talking about, I don't have it so I'm hoping it is part of the AFE intake and that when they installed my Logic intake they didn't take something off that they weren't supposed to.. Now that I'm taking a second look it looks like it is part of the intake..

btw how long did it take for the install?

All these dynos are wheel horsepower, Dinan stated numbers are at the crank.

that plastic piece is part of your stock air box. you will need them in case you need to put your stock ones back on.

Because the AFE can be installed with the stock piece untouched while your Logic intake requires more room for it to fit. Notice that the Logic has a long intake pipe while the AFE only has a small extension attachment.
