btw, what is this John?
..and above the oil cap, why is that plastic peice still there? isn't that part of the stock intake?

Nice setup. No doubt AFE makes quality intakes! Although, i doubt that you can make 27HP on the dual cone setup on a stock N54. It will be nice if you can do a before and after dyno to prove those numbers.
Didn't you notice any low end torque loss? It was noticeable when i installed the dual cone intakes on my car. Also, you have to really step on the gas to hear those turbos spool with your windows down. Can't hear them in a closed cabin. Just sharing my personal experience and i'm wondering if you experienced the same.

No reason to get the Dinan flash. The main reason to pay the Dinan markup is because of the warranty. It clearly states in the Dinan warranty, not to use unauthorized aftermarket parts. If you go Dinan, you should use only Dinan parts. Earn your 10 points and get the Dinan badge.

it's ok! maybe when we hook up next time, shouldn't take too long.
if i'm i'm on the same page, the plastic piece is part of the intake system.
