My Ride: 2005 BMW 545i M Sport Induvidual; Induvidual Black exterior (475 Saphire Black metallic), Induvidual Z1XX Merino leather Platinum interior, Logic 7, shadow line trim.
I have a black individual and love it. It's high maintenance though, but to offset that I got paint protection (glass plexin) on it so I don't need to wash it as often because it stays clean for longer. Highly recommend you get some sort of paint protection if you choose black.

I have a Jet Black on Black, and I absolutely love it. I had a Silver Maxima before this, and eventhough I didn't have to wash the Maxima as much, it can't even compare to Black. So yes, I would do it again.

My Ride: 550i 2009 Mod. with tints all around. Got Splitter and Spoiler coming. May do an exhaust.
I have a Garage and now I know why I need it! The Bat Cave Loves the Black Shappire Bat. I also like the auburn interior Sport Package. Course Hand Wash and use Zymol Car Care Kits andl Meguiars Car Products Final Inspection Spray after the Hand Wash. I think it helps protect the mirror shine.

My Ride: 2009 535i
Had a black sapphire 335i and now a black sapphire 535i. A pain to maintain, but they do look great IMO. I really wish I would have gone with Jet Black though.
I think white looks great on the E60 and may choose to go this route the next time. But I will put up with the extra washing and maintenance. I am a Zaino freak as well, so as long as my car is protected, it is fairly easy to wash.

For a daily driver? HELL NO!
But, for a "fun" car..
Like they say at BMCforums.. "You can have any color you want, so long as it's black!"

The moment you're asking yourself these questions: then please DO NOT choose black.
Don't get me wrong, I love black cars (it's my second Carbon black), but a light color is much easier to maintain. I hate the swirl scratches on my car, that are evident when the light shines on the car, due to the bad car wash the previous owner used.......
Have you considered a dark grey color combo with the brown interior? imho the Space Grey or Platinum grey looks great with the tan interior!
