Let me check out my signature...yeah...I guess I would get another black car. If you do not like washing your car, then do NOT get black...very simple.

Actually....I didn't know they made any other colors!

I would do Jet Black in the future maybe, but not Carbon again.......I like the Carbon but I actually wanted a BLACK CAR not a black with bits of blue in it lol, my last E46 was Orient Blue so already another Dark Blue metallic.

Thats assuming I ever buy another BMW ............. the rate this E60 is going build quality wise im starting to ponder.......

Mines an individual black and its really nice. I never owned black cars in my life and this is a first. Its lovely to look at, easy to get dirty. But I love to wash the car so I don't foresee a big issue here. Whats 45mins every 2 or 3 days anyway. Treat it as my exercise regime.

Anyway the black has a blue colour to it in the light and I think its really cool. A friend was over the other day and he said it was black... until the sun caught the side and he was gob-smacked. He was impressed.

If you want to go for some other colour, I quite like the individual green that a member on here has. I think its Aeroresh's car. Now thats super cool and with piano black on the inside, it just makes it awesome combo. Here is a pic of my car.

cheers

Wow thanks for all the responses. I have a couple of months left on my current which is my favorite color in the lineup. I keep you posted as things progress.

Drive safe.

One way to look at the issue is, would you rather have a colour that you think looks fantastic when clean and still great when it's not clean (just not quite so good). Or would you rather have a colour that always manages to look clean, but regardless of whether it's clean or dirty, it just doesn't look as good as black. I've had red, white, silver, grey and black and without doubt the silver and red looked cleaner most of the time, but they never looked as good as black.

Henry Ford said it best... "You can have any color car as long as it is Black."

7 or 8 of my cars have been black. Throw a Silver S4 and a Silver VW, and I still keep comming back to Black. Might not be the easiest to keep clean, but when it is clean, there is nothing like it out there. I WILL NEVER OWN ANY COLOR CAR BUT BLACK FROM HERE ON OUT.

Love black. I have blk saphire, but would probably go basic black. In the light, looks like dust particles with the saphire imho.

Jet black is a classy lady, especially at dusk.
