Wow... glad wife is OK. I took my wife from a Volvo XC70 AWD Wagon to an X3. Want her in a quality, safe ride.

Cars can be replaced... family can not.

Barry
What happened to the XC70 wagon ??

This is why I keep my BMW's in my garage I believe they are one of the safest cars! This was one of the cars I crashed at 230Km/h into a forest but walked off shaking the dirt of my shoulder... I dont have pics of my E70 X5 that I crashed though, the front wheel came of and some major body dents in the front.

I dont wear seat belts as i believe its a lot safer without them especially when speeding I ended up in the back seat of this Bimma

Were you a crash-test dummy in another life?

You're lucky you weren't killed in any of your accidents...obviously, it's your choice but I think the odds/facts clearly prove that wearing a seat belt is usually the best thing to do. I won't waste any more server resources debating the virtues of seat belt use, etc. but I had to at least say something!

Glad to hear your wife is okay -- the car did it's job and sacrificed itself to protect what's important!

You need to inform the car manufacturers and hundreds of safety specialists around the world that are deluded into thinking seatbelts are helpful.
