why so many problems???

I'm so tired of hearing "It's because it uses Windows". Give me a break. Do you know how many high end financial (mission critical) apps are built on Windows.

To those you want to blame Windows - know that is makes you look like a wacko.

Win CE Auto is what is used... Which ONLY runs on the MASK/CCC. The safety critical systems continue to run on a seperate processor controlling all legacy auto systems.

Loads of others like Alpine also use Win CE Auto... I compare it head on to a full RTOS for stability. The codebase has NO connection to the kernel for desktop PC Windows.
