Yep.
My dealer has got connections to a "dent doctor".
But as I said, no scratches and very minor on my door, so it was easy to fix.

Looks like 'Iceman' can point you in the right direction. Hope you get everything sorted and sorry to hear what happened. I know what you are feeling. One of my cars got dinged by a door the other day.

Truly sorry about your car's ding and hope you get a quick fix to your Bimmer's injury. Your post from Grafenwoer does, however, bring back memories from my time at the training area. Back in '56, most GIs, if they had a car at all, brought their Detroit iron with them ( my '54 Ford convertible stayed at home and I, along with some of my buds bought a very used '49 VW). If there were any German cars, they were usually VWs, Borgwards and the like. And, personal cars were never allowed at training areas with a Jeep from the motor pool serving as your steed. if you were an officer, you had a driver. Which brings me to my "ding" story: One of our drivers tended to find the "bottle" wherever he was and, anytime he was driving after 17:00, he probably was in the bag. As luck would have it, DYI finally caught up with him and, while driving solo, he put the Jeep into one of Grafenwoer's steep ditches and totaled Uncle Sam's property. Fortunately, the driver suffered no injuries; that is until Uncle decided to collect on the US taxpayer's investment. The government decided that the driver would need to reimburse the $5,000+ cost of the Jeep and the money would be recovered via a small deduction from the driver's $70.00 monthly pay. My two year stint in the army ended soon after and I never found out if the debt was repaid. You don't think Uncle may still have the driver at Grafenwoer working off the debt and he might have been responsible for your problem?

Ah, a fellow sevicemember! Well, if Uncle Sam does have him still here and he is responsible it is ok. I dont think I would be very kind if I had to work off a seemingly impossible debt. Trust me, I know how it feels to pay uncle sam back...! It is no fun. lol
Nice to meet you
