Okay, so I am in Grafenwoer Germany today to pick up some of my Soldiers from WLC (warrior leaders course) and everything was going well. I drove about three hours to get there so I needed a nice stretch. So, I get out and watch their graduation. It was cool... I Pick them up and congratulate them all and one of the Soldiers with me say's hey, was that scratch there.

FREEZE; Everyone always does that when you have a nice car. Does it not get old? Is it not old already? But it seems like everytime we fall for it... Why?

UNFREEZE; Ha, I say.... But he was serious this time... Someone opened their door with a little too much enthusiasm... Or just didnt care... Or really did care... Or it was the wind's fault... Either way, I am stuck with a dent and chip on my passenger side rear door!!! No note, oops, sorry, screw you... nothing! Just white paint and stress. Has anyone had this situation before? Cost? Body shop? I just want to get it fixed but I am now stuck on a 24hr Duty...

Any advice?

Tonymac

p.s. no pics yet because I am on a government computer. I cannot upload pics here.

It happened to me once, but it was a very little ding, no scratch, nothing, almost unnoticeable.

Cost me 80.- Euro to get it fixed.

Will probably need a pic to provide some input about cost. Sorry to hear Tony, hope things get resolved

I know it's hard, but try not to stare at it so often or too long

Sorry hear what happened bro~ Happens all the time in Korea with women drivers and kids getting out of mommy or daddy's car. I have had several dings on the doors and fenders of my cars. The best way is to fix the ding it and get the panel repainted. Barring that there are companies that fix minor scratches and dings for much less than a regular body shop. They will even come to you to do the repairs. However, you have to be careful with the ding repair guys. Some of them do shoddy work and the paint starts to fade or discolor after a short while. I'm sure that they have ding repair shops in Germany. Good luck with the repairs.

I understand that... Hopefully I can get it fixed quick... It looks bad... To me at least... Everyone tries to tell me it's not that bad (with the sad look on their face) lol

Yep.

My dealer has got connections to a "dent doctor".
But as I said, no scratches and very minor on my door, so it was easy to fix.
