Is that based on actual data or just an assumption that quality is poor?
I'm passing on unsubstantiated information that I've garnered online.
Where I make factual contributions or feel moved to express an opinion, I DO try to make sure it's derived from personal experience.
I have gathered no personal experience of the Quattroporte - and unlikely to do so!

I have not owned a quattroporte, but have owned a Maserati in the past. Sure it spent a great deal of time in a garage but the relationship with the car was like a love affair..
(hey, my 545i is no angel - 47 total days in repairs)Quality has improved over the years and a great deal was learned with Ferrari - I would not object to one more in the future..

I hate to say it but it won't be a BMW. The Japanese are getting close without the spotty reliability and terrible dealers. Probably a GS hybrid...
I wait until BMW make a green car
