1. No dipstick
2. Run flat tyres
3. Useless cup holders
4. Pathetic standard stereo
5. Sat Nav graphics developed by a 5-year old kid
6. Useless "voice activation". Always misunderstands the simplest of commands
7. No where to put sunglasses
8. Wipers not adjusted for RH drive
9. No temperature gauge
10. I-drive
11. No standard xenon lights on a car of this price

My Ride: 08 550 Carbon Sport Almost everything factory, but no sound upgrades.
Some people, if they won the freaking lottery today, they would bellyache because they didn't win it yesterday.
I like my E60, despite a few annoyances. And if I knew about all this "stupid" stuff ahead of time I still would have bought it.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

the invisible fog light switches - did someone think "ah yes the driver may be a bit stressed driving in thick fog suddenly and can not see very well - so we'll force them to look around the steering wheel to reloate fog light switches and make sure they have no tactile marking"
(well actually I agree about the cup holders - they're pretty silly)

Ah I forgot! in our car (which has no phone/bluetooth and hence the coms part of iDrive just had 2 phone numbers as reminders) - after reprogramming the phone numbers went blank.... so there is now a full Coms menu with nothing on it! amazing.
