When the e39 went from 3.9 to 4.4 liters they still called it a 540i.

But they did call the twin turbo 3.0d the 535D (and335D) rather the originally proposed 530top (WTF )

If they keep the single turbo version they will have to differentiate the engines somehow...

Agree, They will just bump the power in a year or two which is very easy with a turbo engine, but leave the name. I bet even before that Dinan will come up with something like 480bhp/500l/ft.

Keep in mind that the F10 M5 will be TT as well. I think I read somewhere around 600hp. Heres an interesting vid for those who haven't seen it:

Dinan is already working on it

keep in mind the engine has already been out for a year, first year X6, this year in the F01...
