550 miles to a tank of diesel - on a bad week.

650 on a good week (motorway driving)

And that isn't driving like a pussy either. It cruises at 100MPH doing 40MPG on a flat bit of motorway. Seems to be more economical once the turbo is spinning.

Filled up last week, after a run on the motorway. Range said 800 miles A bit of local driving will calm that down

About $10 per day. And it's a tiny bladder.

I've been getting between 340-360 miles/tank with about 50 miles still left on the range with a mix of city and highway. My M3 got 380-400 miles/tank with 20-30 miles left on the range in the same type of driving ... but it had a tank that was 1.5 gallon smaller. I guess that's the price you pay for a V8.

Apologies for the lousy picture. Taken this morning, this is for our American friends.

What is your range?-image028_resized.jpg

I filled up and reset the trip counter - the picture was taken after 72.6 miles and shows remaining range of 518, so that's a total of 590.6 which isn't bad for a slushbox (automatic). Of course, this is a diesel, but I wasn't really trying for an economy run. Next time I fill up after a long run, should get a picture showing range of more than 600 miles - just wish I still had a manual gearbox...
