what kind of wheels did you get? int he world of wheels you get what you pay for. cheap wheels are going to bend espically on those rubber bands called tires. i run the same tire setup as you and i agree they are super low profile. i drive roads that i know and i take my sweet ass time. no more zippin around. i wanted the 30 series but the rim guys said it wasnt the right spec for the car. if u had to weld 6 cracks id throw those wheels in the trash and put the stocks back on till you can save for higher quality 20s. forged 20s are some loot tho for a good brand around 1000 a wheel. i went with vossen wheels staggered. so far so good.

i'd definitely get new wheels. sounds like the roads are pretty bad in your area. maybe consider 19's and run 40/35.
if you have 6 cracks on one wheel, running 35/30 on 20's may not solve your problem.

Thank you all for the great advice.
I really can't bring myself to spend $800 or so on new tires for already damaged wheels. The roads here in Honolulu can be bad at times. I broke my wheels during last winter when we get a lot of rain. A lot of rain = a lot of potholes. And the pothole repair crews do a terrible job of patching them. I try to memorize the bad ones when I see them, but sometimes you are surprised. When I originally damaged my wheels I was on the freeway so there really is no way to stop or swerve around it with cars all around me going 60mph... Side streets are no problem. I can just slowly go around.
