Sorry if this question is redundant--

is there a difference betw. std, business, or pro nav???

I just ordered a car with navigation (didn't specify anything). Should I ask specifically for "pro"???

Thanks for the advice...

My Ride: GONE BUT NOT FOGOTTEN : 530d SE Auto : Titanium Grey / Anthracite Leather, Poplar Trim, 18in 123 Style Alloys, Adaptive Bi-Xenons, Business Nav, Hi-Fi Speaker Package, Heated seats, Split-Fold Rear Seats LR DISCO 3 HSE with everything (including 3 kids)

Business nav has the smaller screen and no maps (just arrow based directions)

Pro nav has the wider screen + maps.

I thought that the US only had pro nav - but I may be wrong.

I believe you are right, I didn't have any choices to make when ordering nav on my car. just nav or no nav.

In Europe, there are business (standard i-Drive screen) and pronav (standard i-Drive screen + small square screen next to standard one).
In US, where you're in right now, only has pro nav. So sleep well and don't worry much about what nav you have. Congrats on your new BMW

Since you're from the USA you only have the choice of nav or no nav. In case you buy nav, you'll get nav pro.
Nav bus can't be ordered in the USA.
