what is Dention Gateway 500 for?
i already have a retrofit ipod adapter that i can connect ipod to.
is there anything extra can Dention 500 give me?
what are the requirements to have it installed? (530i LCI, cd-changer, no navigation))

My Ride: 2005 Jet Black 545i w/ sport pkg, nav, HUD
Do a search for DenSion gateway 500. It's basically an aux adapter that provides seemless integration for not only ipods, but any usb storage device to the idrive. There are expansion modules for bluetooth and video as well.

what do I need to have it installed? where does it get hooked up?
my BMW adapter is shit, it only shows first 500 tracks which totally sucks.
