You may be a bit late on this but it's been done on an E60. I know for sure there is at least one E60 M5 in LA that has the flat black full wrap. I saw it maybe 3 years ago.

I know of an e60 that has been fully wrapped in matte black, original color was silver gray. he is in socal as well but I believe he doesnt post.

i say 'go for it'. it's not that difficult at all and is a great DIY project

Yup, I saw your DIY thread and it looks like a cinch. I just finished wrapping my interior wood trim with matte carbon fiber material. If I can do that, the roof is a walk in the park.

I HIGHLY suggest for people to at least give it a try. The worst that can happen is that you don't like it and you just peel it off.
