Recently my car has mysteriously developed some beeping sound while driving. It's kind of random, and it happens when I am driving and it beeps for a few seconds (2-3 beeps), then it stops. No warning on i-drive, I don't even know where the sound is coming from. Anyone can shed some lights on this? Btw I got 10k miles and it's a 07 525i, US spec...

Thanks.

Makes you wonder how it got set that way. You'd think the BMW Centers would want it defaulted to "off" to keep from hearing from the new owners more than necessary. Wait! Maybe it's a test to see if you'd read the Owner's Manual?
