Thumbs down

The snow has finally ended but it's not going to go away anytime soon! The roads in my neighborhood still have 10-15" of snow on them. Even my xi doesn't have sufficient ground clearance to get through that all-wheel drive and all-season tires and all!

im so confused whats the difference??? so in the snow we should use the DTC option and not leave it atDSC???
Press the DTC button once and briefly. Dynamic Traction Control is activated. This allows some tire slippage, useful for getting unstuck and started in the snow. Yet DSC stability control is still enabled for safety. If you press and hold the button, DSC is disabled, allowing the car to slide around uncontrollably. Not recommended unless you are a rally driver or playing in a really big parking lot.

My cousin drove yesterday in his FJ Cruiser with All terrain tires. No problem at all. Running circles around cars like nothing. So much fun with a 4x4 with meaty tires. We drove his sister's FX35 from the city to her house in Queens and picked up his FJ. Drove all night just for the hell of it.

Had a front row seat watch a Lincoln Town car hit the guard rail. He came in the the highway in front of us, couldn't control the car and slid right into the guard rail. Not too bad. He managed to get his car facing forward and slammed the side on the rail. He bounced and went all the way to the first lane. We pulled along side him and ask if he was okay. and we left.

i just got home safe from Mohegan Sun with my XI, some of my friends took 4 hours bus to get there (120 miles away)
same to Atlantic city as well(4-5 hours), alot of accident on high way, i dont think rear wheel drive with winter tires can handle this storm
never regret to have XI during winter, especially this kind of weather

I think we only got 12-15" in Massachusetts. I'm still glad I have the XI so that I can admire her in the garage.
