In my garage, backing in, handbrake of my motorcycle dug right into my paint down the rear quarter onto the back door. its deep. its not a scratch. it is trough the paint.

my car WAS flawless. now it is a peice of shit. i am shaking and it happened about half an hour ago. i told myself i was not going out tonight because i am a moron and spend a fortune when i go out. so much for that. a few hundred bucks is a mere nothing to the god knows how much this will cost.

i dont even want the car anymore.

i am so mad. i screamed the F word a few times so everyone in a 2 mile radius could hear me. my dirtbag neighbors prob think its funny because they are losers.

this is the worst day of my life... well, this year so far anyway.

i wish my car would just catch fire so i could get a new one.

stop it you little girl, it can be fixed just like anything out there. It sucks that it happened but its not a loss. Insurance claim it because you are right it will be expensive to fix that but it can be colored matched correctly so dont worry

i just looked at it again. it seems so dumb to repaint the rear quarter and door for this. it isnt that bad, but it is bad enough to require a repaint

Dude, it's gonna be fine. You're not the first person this has happened to, nor the last. You're just mad right now and venting and that's fine. Just don't break anything you'll regret tomorrow. Take it to a body shop and get a quote to have it resprayed. That alone will make you feel better. It sucks, but it's no reason to desert your pride and joy. She needs you now more than ever.

Craig:

So sorry to hear that. Even the best drivers have had parking mishaps at some point.

Take it to a good auto body shop and I get they can make it look as good as new.

Are you insured? I assume you are. I would find out what the cost will be to fix it before deciding whether to make a claim. I would only make a claim if a fix will be big bucks.

At bottom, it's a machine. A beautiful machine but a machine all the same. Machines can be fixed or replaced.
