weird question; hood ornament

ok forget an ornament...how about a radar detector or something.. i just dont like not seeing the very edge of the front o the hood...which was very easy with almost all benz I had

You don't need a hood ornament to help you "track" a BMW.

Any good driver or even a track-driver knows that looking up/ahead is way more important than looking down at the edge of the hood to keep an eye on the road.

Sure mate no probs, that is why I got the HUD, best hood ornament, but you may ask your dealer adjust it if you prefer, and two other things:

1st thx for chosing soon a real nice car for an E60 you need no ornaments, E60 is ornament of the roads you rolling.

Maybe you should just stay with your Mercedes.

WHy??? You'll get use to no hood thingy. I wouldnt worry... I believe you can drive and still track stright without a hood ornament... if you cant then... ummm I'm sorry.... may I suggest drivers 102...

Hmm...how would a radar detector help you see the front edge of your hood?

But seriously, I'm sure you would get used to an ornamentless hood in no time.
