I too am an LCI owner and would love the sport function without having to spend hundreds on the SAT setup. I really just want the throttle and steering improvements. After reading end to end in this thread I haven't seen a single LCI success story. Did I miss something?

It's already in the diagram by the OP ... and even in some earlier posts.
Here's in case it's confusing for some ... pin # on the FDC switch on the left side & pin # on the dash switch block on the right side:
#1 - #9 (LED)
#2 - #10 (Ground)
#3 - #8 (signal)
#4 - N/A
