Water Pump Class Action Suit
My claim for reimbursement for the water pump replaced on my 2010 535xI was declined because delivery date was 06/03/10 and the repair was done on 08/19/17 7years and 2 months past the 7 year extension. Any ideas on how to fight this or who to contact. This my 4th BMW and one of my sons is on his second BMW and the other son has his first.

Are you having the issue now? The only you can do is make a case with BMW customer care and they'll probably give you a couple free oil changes if you actually go to the dealership to get your service done. If not they will care less because you don't spend money with them

They said "Sorry, you are 2 months over the 7 year period and it doesn't matter you only had 68,995 miles when the work was done."

not much you can do besides write a letter to BMW NA or pursue it further but if you fall outside the window, there isnt much that can be done.
