Hi forum buddies - just wanted to introduce myself. This seems like a great place for an E60 owner to hang out. I just picked up my car in Munich on the 17th, dropped off in Frankfurt on the 24th and now begins the long wait.

I've been a loyal VW/Audi owner for the last 22 years starting with a 1882 Scirocce, then a Coupe GT, A4, and still driving my A6 2.7T (always manual). Audi's are great cars, but they just aren't as much fun to drive as a BMW. So, I bit the bullet, and decided to get the best manual transmission 4 door that I could buy right now, the 545.

I'll post copious pics when I get my baby home. The waiting is agony.

Welcome -- You're right, this is the place to be if you enjoy the E60.

You made an excellent choice in cars, my friend!

The wait after ED must be a killer!! Hope we can keep you sane until your new baby comes home to you.....

Looking forward to the copious pictures, wolverine. I never tire of looking at the lines of the new E60. I used an E60 for wallpaper on all three computers during my six month wait. I hate to admit that I peer into the garage on odd occasions just for the purpose of admiring the machine, BUT I DO! We all support you during your time of need.

Wolverine: I noticed in your sig that you've got an option abbreviated CP. What is that? The only guess I've got is Cold Weather which people usually do CWP or ZCW. Thanks.

Yup, Cold Package - includes heated steering wheel and heated rear seats, and ski bag.

Cold package in the US doesn't include the Ski Bag!

Yup, Nick is on the money. You get the ski bag with split folding rear seats, in the US anyway.
