This has been a problem for awhile.

My volume control button doesn't work anymore (not the one on the steering wheel)

it can only turn on and off, but i can't turn the volume up or down.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Anyway to fix this? The dealer has my car right now but asking for $350+ just to fix it (I'm on my extended warranty btw)

What are my options.

When I dropped off my car I spoke w/ my SA about volume control problem. He told me that the extended warranty only covers mechanical malfunctions.

I thought that ext. warranty was the same as stock but all I do is pay a deductible.

Is the dealer screwing me

 

You really have to read the fine print on these extended warranties. The BMW version does exclude electronics and accessories so I'm not surprised the dealer is telling him this.
