My Ride: LCI E60 Individual (Onyx Blue, Piano Black trim, Marino Leather) M Sport Package, 19" M172 wheels, Sunroof, Professional Navigation, HUD, TV function, Voice Recognition, PDC, Active Steering, Comfort Access, Logic 7, iPod/USB Adapter, Xeon Headlights, Adaptive Headlights, High Beam Assist. Build completed August 2007.
Been too busy the past two weeks driving my new E60 to post pics So I took some time out today to get a couple of quick shots.
I wanted an all black interior (like my last 330i) so I had to go BMW Individual (at A$7,000 !) to get piano black trim with the M-Sport package. Looks nice (to me) with the anthricate headliner and the black leather sports seats.
I saw Onyx Blue (an Individual only colour) in a dealer showroom and I liked it, so I ordered it - something different from all the Carbon Black I see around. In the shade it looks like Orient (dark) Blue with a 'sparkle' to it. What it didn't know, is that in direct sunlight it takes on a kind of purple hue. If you have a look at the image of the sunroof you will see what I mean. Looks a kind of purple in one part and blue in another...
Just came back today from getting the 3M clear car paint protector - they have a computer-cut kit for the M-Sport LCI E60. Unless you really look, you wouldn't know it was there. Getting window tinting next week.
Going out now to enjoy some night driving... see you all in about a week.

Nice! What's the difference between piano black trim and the LCI standard high gloss trim?

Congrats on the new ride!
I've seen Blue Onyx in real life and thought it looked great in levels of light / shade
Enjoy...
