My Ride: 545i YM2005, Gray exterior beige nascar interior, tiptronic, comfort & active seats, Prof NAV, Active steering, adaptive lighting, professional car telephone, alloy wheels 18" Model 124, run flat tyres and Logic 7 sound system.
Colleagues,
Is it possible to retro-fit Voice Command on 545 with Navi Pro & BlueTooth installed? I do have the VC button on the steering but not on the middle console.
if yes, what is the part number? Can I install it myself or do I need to go to the dealer?
Any idea about cost?
Thanks

The parts system shows part number: 84 64 0 396 162 (Retrofit Kit, Voice Input System.) It also shows an allowance of 1.25 to 2.0 hours, depending on the condition of the vehicle and the equipment in it.

I had mine retrofitted, they replace the central switch with a dual one and reprogram the system....mine was done in an afternoon for 270 gbp at my dealer.
worth doing in my opinion.

Waiting for trunkopener button from Hobi :)
I've had it done too. When I got my car back they had the voice recognition programmed in German. A few weeks ago I gave them my car again and they reprogrammed it in UK English.
So if you get it installed tell your dealer you want the UK English version!
