Hello All,
I've got a brand new '06 530i, no Navigation, standard radio/CD unit. When I push the button on the steering wheel to start the voice recognition system, and then give a voice command, a powerful male voice apologizes and tells me that the system is off. Does the voice command system only work if you have Navigation? Or does it require a Bluetooth-capable cellphone installed? I thougt it was interesting that the system is complete enough to know when I'm trying to use it, but not willing to actually work.
What am I missing?
