I've been away from the forum for awhile, and am very sad to see this. I didn't know JDN personally, but really enjoyed and respected everything he posted. He provided me with alot of helpful information when I bought my first E60 back in 2005, and was always a gentleman.

RIP JDN, I know you're in a better place now.

No way! I leave this board for a short while and this happens . I am speachless...

As an early adoptor of SMG, JDN gave many of us valuable insights of this new transmission.
A true contributor to this board.

I almost don't want to (bump) the topic - but I must add my condolences as well.

I've been away from the forum for quite a while now, but I'm sure a few of you 'old-timers' will remember me.
(Odd sense of humor, too many parenthesis (and emoticons ), and one of the 1st SMG's - along with JDN & Rudy).

I am deeply saddened to see that one of the 'originals' has left us.
I always respected his opinions and advice.
I am sure that this loss is far greater to his family and others who he has touched personally, however there are still a few tears on my keyboard.

May he rest in peace!

Hey realtyman!

I was wondering when you'd check in and learn of this sad news -- I know we all shared a common bond with our early production SMG's...mine was built pretty much the same day as JDN's.

Glad to see the bump in this thread, I think it's about time for it to hit the front page again...

We miss you JDN!

VERY Sad news!

Nice to see that you are still not sleeping much still (nor am I).

I've seen a few of my friends pass away as of late. I consider JDN to be one of those.

It really makes you value Every day you wake up!

I know I am a little late... wow! I feel terrible to have missed this thread! The first thing came to my mind when I saw JDN's name was his avatar and most certainly his contribution to this forum! This is very sad... Rest In Peace JDN. Again, sorry I am late...
