I have tried doing that and still does not work. Oh well, it will probably be fixed with the next update.

You probably have checked this but I'll ask anyway. Did you check you had the RDS function ticked when using the key without RDS working? Maybe worth unticking and reticking RDS to see if it registers. Worth a try I guess. Sorry can't be of more help.

 

I didn't know there was a place to check or uncheck it. Where do I go to do that?

 

Where is that RDS button ?

I tried today the 2nd key and the settings such as language, radio stations, ac settings are different but no RDS at all.

I remember that when i pick up my car at the dealer the RDS was working, past a couple of weeks it went out .....

 

Its in the "SET" section. You have to push down on the I-Drive like when storing stations etc.
Having a blank mind at the moment, I can't remember whether its in the FM Radio section or the CD/CD Changer menu. Its definitely the place where you press down the i-drive to access the "SET" menu. There are two possible check/uncheck entries. One for RDS and the other for TP.

This is a regional thing.

If you have version 12 in the US, you lose RDS

If you have version 12 in the UK (Europe??), RDS is fine.

 

browellm: My question was, though, that Key #1 has RDS but Key #2 does not. I currently have version 12.12 in the car. So I don't think RDS is a regional thing.
