Hi All,
Picked up my ED car yesterday. I was giving them a hard time about not being able to play MP3s. I asked what CIP was on my car and they didn't know. I said I wanted a commitment to upgrade for MP3 capability when it is available. No commitment because they had on idea what that meant. Finally got a guy that somewhat knew what I was talking about. He says "Oh yeah, I just got CIP ver. 9.1" I said "Huh?, you mean 19.1?" He says " Oh, yeah, right, 19.1". So anyways apparently 19.1 exists, at least here in the Bay Area (CA). ED Sales guy made an appoint for me to check my CIP and upgrade to 19.1 if necessary. He still didn't commit to upgrading me to MP3 when available.
Question: How old of CIP version makes sense to upgrade? Or, should I upgrade even if 18.x is installed

Wow, my car has been at the dealer since Wednesday and they just called saying they might need another day cause they're running into problems with the upgrade. I better have a fully functional computer with MP3 and PlayStation by the time they're done... =)
