When I start the car and the motor is still hot the car blowes hot air into my face right at start up.

Not cool. What setting do I need to change?

Did you parked out in the sun? If so, then even $350000 Maybach will blow hot air into your face. Just keep the AC on and it will cool down.

I would move to somewhere cold, like I am. Then you rarely need to worry about warm air in the vents.

(sorry, I had to add that, but I don't know where you are from your signature).

Maybe that vent adjustment would help redistribute the air some.

In the vent control settings in i-drive is the body of the man-figure set to blue (cool) or red (heat). I take it you are in a warm climate so you want blue.

If you have this set properly then I guess the only thing you can do until the airconditioning kicks in is turn down the fan or close the vent.
