Valvetronic Question (advanced)

My Ride: 98' 528i Manual07' 550i Sport
Fighting a idle vibration on my 550i with jumpy throttle. I have ISIS and an X431 diag tools.
Looking at eccentric shaft angle on both banks i see one side changes with rpm and the other is always at 0 with no change. I have swapped motors and re-calibrated.
I do see the valve lift changing though for both banks. They are very close but not exact. One say is .50 and the other .51 just as an example.
Is this normal or should i see angle change on both banks?
