I'm in good old UK!

Car still at dealers and the steering is now working but not the seat memory. Apparantly there are now 3 cars at dealers in the UK with the same spec / problem.

BMW UK dont have the answer. What a way to carry on.

First they say the function is no longer in I drive but in key memory only and when that doesn't work its "Oh dear" we'll be back to you!

I haven't got that much patience I'm afraid. Love the car but the back up is non existant and the dealers are getting the brunt of it when it's basically not their fault!

Lost all my BMW Assist Services after the v12 update, and cannot restore them. This function is in the communication interface section of the idrive (Push the control wheel down to activate). No one at I spoke to BMW seems to know. The dealers shop foreman says to try and reactivate in a place free of trees or other obstructions to the satellite (like a large parking lot). If that doesn't work, turn the vehicle off for about 20 minutes and try it again. I tried the parking lot gig and it didn't work of course. Another trip to the dealer. Oh, well...

Did you know there's an idrive help line? 866-318-0488 in the US. They don't have the version 12 info as yet and are simply the same old customer relations crew. In other words, clueless. Don't waste your time.
