You guys notice that the iDrive screen gives off "laser" hits? I just noticed this yesterday while putting up my V1 -- when it has a clear view of the iDrive screen, the V1 screams bloody-murder that it's being hit by laser -- and it's just fine when I put it on the dashboard. I thought it was sorta neat -- I hope this isn't a "welcome to last week" thing.

Nope, it's a new topic. Wonder if the V1 behind you picks up the iDrive screen? Most of the V1s in this group are hardwired so many may not have experienced what you did.

Sounds like the screen emits some light in the "right" wavelength. Some LED brake lights also do this.
