You have AUX? If not, just pay to get this and they'll flash the software for ya. Plus the AUX input is very useful.
I don't have AUX? What does it mean exactly?
Thanks Again!

AUX is AUXILIRY AUDIO INPUT, meaning you can hook up any music player using the ordinary earphones jack into the car and use the car's speakers system for sound. For example an iPod, you can plug your iPod into the AUX and the song will play on your car's speakers. its worth it.

Hi,
Does anyone know how much it would cost to have the AUX input fitted to my car?
I'm in the UK by the way.
Cheers
Marc

Hi Marc
I'm over here in the UK, Essex. Just picked up my 530d MSport and by bro's 535d M sport. I would have thought your 535d came with the aux port on the back of the centre arm rest.
I've got my 530d going in next week for s/w upgrade; told them that the current version was causing problems with mobile.

Couple of points here:
There is as yet no cure for the CD continuing to spin despite what CIP SIBs say. A more recent SIB on the CD Drive itself clearly states BMW does not expect a fix until March 2007 so do not use that reason.
No method to determine your current level except by dealer. When you turn car in ask for copy of Measures Plan, and / or Final Report to be supplied with paperwork upon return to you.
As to the number of times your car or anything limits the number of times you can upgrade, there is no known limit. However, there are some programmable arrays that may have an individual limit. This is normally indicated on the Final Report.
