For those with CA, you might have to replace the battery in the FOB (see below from my 06 manual):

Replacing battery
The remote control for comfort access contains
a battery which must be replaced if necessary.
1. Remove integrated key from remote control,
refer to page 28.
2. Remove cover.
3. Lay in new battery with positive side facing
upward.
4. Press cover closed.

I too love CA. The one thing that drives me crazy is that when I wash my car I have to put the keys inside the house. If they are in my pocket the car locks and unlocks continually as i wash the sides of the car. I guess the water transfers the signal.

I think if you put the key in the key slot you will prevent the car from locking and unlocking while washing. I think it's actually a "car wash mode" that they designed for use when going through automatic car washes.

What's funny is that just yesterday, as I was brushing snow off of the car, it kept locking and unlocking repeatedly but I didn't care too much...
