Mine hadn't been to the shop for the entire first 2 years. Only went in then because it was ready for the first service.
I think a lot of people get hung up on trying to make their cars perfect. If you fall into that trap, you're not going to ever have any fun with it. It's a car man.

My e60 stays in the shop just got it back a week ago and is back again for the area engineer to look at the paint. Anyone else haveing paint issues? Water spots and pitting all over the car, the last time he said it was the environtment but i have 4 other cars in the same environment that do not have any paint problems go figure and it's getting worse. Any who I look at it like this I knew when I brought it that it was a high maintainance car, and I we probably take it back more since we have the type of warrenty that we have. If I hear a noise it goes back if the ac smells it goes back, now when the same thing happens with my nissan quest I just let it go until it starts to erk my wife. All and all nothing major just little anoying this and since it's free and I get to test drive another ultimate machine and keep the miles down on my load it sits.

even if you get a RR that cost like a house itis not 100% perfect.
so to all you guys & girls have fun with your cars and stop thinking about the bad things.

I ain't perfectionist, the warning is "unsafe to drive, steering malfunction" (or something like that) third times in 6 months now. I called the dealer yesterday but no room for me yet.
sell it is not an option now, lose too much $ for a 6 months old car.

My Ride: 2004 BMW 530i - no mods. Pretty basic really. I mean it has tires, windows, and a sweet look, what more could a man want? Honestly, I'd like to improve the sound system mildly, and possibly find a worthy engine mod that would increase my BHP by 100 without giving an arm and a leg for. I don't think it's out there, so I'll stay stock and love driving my 530i.
just going to add my .02 cents. (eyes roll) ......... that's all........
