Nothing yet guys.
Im waiting to hear from Dr Dave on the Nav retrofit, im ready to go ahead and do this.
Once this is done, i'm sure i'll need some sort of coding at BMW, so i'll get the MP3 update then too.

Hi guys. Got my 5 a month ago . But managed to kerb it already 
! Can anyone recommend a mobile refurbisher in the Kent area or should I just bite the bullet and get my local BMW dealer to sort it out?

Sagar, I have two sets of CCC + 8.8 screen + idrive High. Gonna see if these any of these will be plug and play. Coding is looking very expensive. Spoke to cartronics in weybridge where Dr Dave got his coded, they want ?600 for complete coding. Trial fitted one CCC and 8.8 screen, everything seemed to work ok. PDC picture was a silver six series but I could live with that. The idrive controller didn't work correctly i.e. I didn't scroll but I left the low controller one in. Strangely voice control worked??? will keep you posted

I will be doing the upgrade, but probably end of the year now.
On another note, ?600 is alot to get it coded is it not? When the average cost for a 8.8" screen, CCC and iDrive is around 1-1.5k the total can come upto say ?2k.
I'm sure BMW do the entire Media Pack upgrade for a few extra hundred pounds?
Or am I completely wrong lol
