Hey Guys
Sorry to butt in....
I have a 2008 520D SE, and want to upgrade the angel eyes to a white rather than yellow light.
All of the instructions on this forum are related to prelci models.
Has anyone in the uk attempted to change the sidelights that are just normal halogen bulbs?
Its doing my flamin head in.
E60 - 08 Black 520D SE - Worcester
Cheers
Neil

Your user manual should state what type bulbs you need - check the 'replacing parts/lights' section of your manual - most likely they are W5W (5Watt bulbs). I don't have Xenons so can't comment there.
Anyway, if they are W5W, then these may be the one's you're looking for - http://www.powerbulbs.com/product_detail.asp?prod=31
I've just ordered some H7 Philips X-Treme Power bulbs for my standard halogens(dipped and high beams) and got a pair of the W5W FOC. Waiting delivery.

I found this uk website that seems to have manufacturer experts answer your car problem questions(amongst other question categories) - just thought I'd post the link in case it's of any help to someone. Not used it myself so cant comment how useful it really is. Hope it's not a load of b*****ks.

Hi all
I spoke to a company in Hertfordshire called R-Tec who are quiet well known in the modified car world. They have thier own showroom and multi-bay fitting area.
I was enquiring about getting a set of Eibach Pro Springs put on the E60, and the chap said he could supply but not fit due to the BMW's Aluminium suspension setup, and something about not having the right tooling for the job?
Does anyone know anything about this? These guys work on some mad motors, so I was quiet surprised when they said they couldn't fit springs.

Keith our mate in the HK forum has the same car and wheels as you and he has had Eibach springs fitted, no probs.
why did Eibach and H&R manufacture springs for E60's?? of course they fit, speak to real bmw specialists and not some
people who work on "or bulse up Mad motors"
i have H&R and they are even lower. Good luck mate

I only have halogens, but cannot figure out how to change the angel light bulbs. The guy at sytner said I'd have to take it in. I can't get an answer anywhere with how to change them. The photo's from the link are no non-lci models. Mine is a 2008, bog standard SE with no xenons.
Let me know when you have changed yours, and more importantly how.....
Cheers
