I've used a b2 for a couple of years now, and a few other "accessories".

There are two places in the country I have found where the laser always goes off - these are IR comms links I believe, otherwise have been lucky enough to only experience one 'speed check' but I had spotted the clues in advance (thanks to hints from oncoming trucker). Not a great loss then losing the laser detector.

The other thing that surprised me was how few Gatso's are actually operational in my part of the world (Midlands). There seem to be only one or two radar units that they move periodically between the boxes. Like Russian roulette I suppose.

Alot of folks used to go on the M6Toll at night for a play and they started 'discouraging' this with traps and more patrols. The only conviction I know of on the Toll was followed by a stripey plodmobile so had nothing to complain about really.
