I do have the pro nav, but without TV monitor.
Can I buy an original BMW TV video tuner, on eBay or at my dealer's (bmw part nr.6 935 980) ??
Do I need s.th. else to be able to watch TV in my car ? (antenna, wiring, ...) ??

Sorry, I don't find any other post.
The Ebay seller tells me I only need the antenna & the wiring (70 ?). Did somebody retrofit the TV founction ??
Someone has the TIS information (parts, drawings, ...) ??

I have looked at this on my TIS disk before, and I am pretty certain the car needs to be reprogrammed. I will check on my TIS disk tonight for any other requirements.

I've just heard on another forum that, if you retorfit the TV tuner the only thing you need is a cable from the TV tuner to the idrive system... The antenna is already in the "shark fin". After the install of the TV tuner, your BMW dealer must ad the feature TV, so the car knows it has the TV function.
Where is the TV tuner located ? Iceman? A picture of the tuner would be nice

There seem to be several issues. The TV control module is located in the left rear luggage compartment. If you remove the trim you will see where it is bolted, fixing the unit will require a new trim. The unit has two sockets, one for the two aerials located in rear windscreen. The second is for the power and feeds to the CCC, note information is relayed to the CCC by fibre optics. Unless these cables and sockets are already there it will be quite a bit of work, both laying the cables and getting access to the CCC.
Find attached a PDF that may be of use, or else it will put you off. Once it is all done you will require a reprogram.
