quick question, got a 520d and upon checking on the condition of the engine as it was losing a bit of power i found that.
MAF is probably gone as after cleaning it the car has more power, also found bit of oil in the EGR and intercooler.
after cleaning the intercooler pipes drove for a bit and oil was back.
turbo is in the process of dieing i guess. has not lost too much power and the car drives fine.
i'm just wondering how long i have until it dies and anything else that can break due to it? i heard that the particulate filter can get damaged because of it.

forgot to mention its an e60 made 09/2005 with 79k miles and when we were checking the pressure of the turbo it seems to be down .3 millibars from 1.3 to around 1.0
does the turbo have much left? no white smoking/whistling yet.

Doesn't sound to serious. How did you clean the maf? is there a diy instruction for on here? Also, how did you determine the pressure from the turbo?
