I don't want it for racing, I want to be kicked back in my seat at normal driving 0-70. And when I need to make a quick lane change not having to floor the gas pedal. I have sprint booster and driving in manual helps. But I need something more. I'd like to do a remap but can't travel to cali to get it done. I think the 20 extra HP would help, 190HP for the size of the car is kinda underpowered.

Do me a favor, call Jerry Pellegrino at (508) 651-1316 and ask him how he can make a 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa into a 325HP car with 0-60 times in 3.5s territory: http://www.epe.com/
Most of the interior was stripped, suspension was totally replaced with lightweight composites, motor was replaced with supercharged, all titanium/aluminum motor, yet, I wanted it to look a run of the mill 911 targa. You don't even want to know what I spent for it. Let's just say that when I sold it, I was able to move from a 1200 sq. ft. ranch to the 3500 sq. ft. colonial you see in the background in my avatar with little difference in mortgage payments. Go ahead, say this is a lie, too.
Stock weight for this car was 2,740 lbs. Didn't take much to shave off quite a few more pounds.
Gimme a break, all right? Again, nothing to gain by lying. You don't know me and I don't know you. Tell me what the hell do I have to gain by lying? Oh, I get it, I'm supposed to feel good that a total stranger who doesn't know me from squat says. "oh wow, pretty impressive." Who the hell cares what you or anybody else think? All my real life friends were pretty impressed and they were all given their respective dose of spanking. I can give you the email addy of a few of them, if you really need testimonials. PM me privately.

Everything you said here reinforced exactly what I said, "Unless it weighed <2400 pounds..." Why the rancor?

HELLO GUYS! i'm new here and this is my first post. I have a solution for sennza and porchetarga, Get a Yamaha R1!! For sennza, it will not only kick u back in your seat, it will throw u completely off with the amount of torque. And for porchetarga, it's limiter is at 189mph indicated," meaning true speed is only about 183.4mph," which i have done many times until it became boring. Seriously though, i know how u feel senza, I bought a v6 mustang a decade ago and i yearned sooo much for a GT or cobra. U will always have that nagging feeling about your car. I can tell u though that getting that 545i will probably be the only way to satisfy your inner hunger for the beast. I have a 545i and i love it! not to pour salt in your wound. Just sell your 525 and then get a used M5 because trading in your car is the reason you have to pay so much more. That way u would pay a little more, but u would have a 500hp beast sitting in your garage.

I purchased my 05 525 CPO with 38K miles for $29K before trading in my 325i and $3,500 down which brought it to $20K financed. I'm paying $390/month.
I can't even fathom paying ~$600/m for anything not _brand new_. If I were you I would just open a high interest savings account, HSBC for example- whatever, and funnel all that extra money you would be spending on a trade-up each month + fuel for a later down payment on something new and more powerful.
Just my $0,02.

And I agree whole completely that its not the car, but the driver/rider that is usually the difference. Back in mid 90's I had a Kawasaki VTR 250 that I tracked here and there. I'd beat the piss out of most of the guys driving the big 750's/1000's. Here and there, you'd get a guy who knew how to ride and could make time in the straight away's and i'd be screwed. But that was far and few.
