I also had a TPM malfunction, I checked my trunk and the electronics were submerged in water. This was the TPM, The PDC and the silver box. Luckily at that time the only thing that had gone wrong was the TPM.
I moved the electronics out of the bottom and put them in the trunk of the car so they are not submerged in water. I cleaned out the trunk and dried the foam.
Cleaning the TPM motherboard with electronic cleaner did not fix my issue. So I was in the process of ordering a replacement.
Today, just in, my PDC has also stopped funcitoning for no apparent reason. Theres no warnings in the car, just the PDC button does nothing and the light on the button does not light up. When I put the car in reverse gear, the PDC screen does not show up automatically. I'm hoping this is a fuse or something, anyone else seen this before?

BMW dealer will just replace and it will cost you big money. Independent garage might try to clean it, might not. Many won't want to clean it and risk a call-back.
Have a look here...look for my post and the PDFs:

BMW eventually decided this wasn't the greatest place to put stuff.
I'd try and do it yourself first. Turn the car off and unplug the module and try to get the cover off and clean it. This is what I use for these cases:
05101 -- QD® Electronic Cleaner, 4.5 Wt Oz
You can get it at the local auto parts store.
