Hey guys,

I did a lot of work to my car lately. With all the info gathered to get the job done right, I'd figured it would be nice to share it with someone who might need it some day.

Feel free to add for other parts if you know "for sure".

BE CAREFUL ABOUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "FOOT"-POUND AND "INCH"- POUND!

Tightening Torque: N52 Engine

Engine oil drain plug to oil pan: 25 Nm (18 ft-lb)

Cover to oil filter housing: 25 Nm (18 ft-lb)

Fuel rail to cylinder head: 10 Nm (7 ft-lb)

Brace to strut tower: 30.5 Nm (22.4 ft-lb)

Manifold to cylinder head: 15 Nm (11 ft-lb)

Throttle housing to intake manifold: 9 Nm (80 in-lb)

Valvetronic motor to cylinder head: 4 Nm (2.9 ft-lb)

Mass air flow sensor to housing: 3 Nm (26 in-lb)

Spark plug to cylinder head: 23 plus or minus 3 Nm (18 plus or minus 2 ft-lb).

Fill/drain plug to rear differential housing:
-Plug with sealing O-ring (replace O-ring): 65 Nm (48 ft-lb)
-Plug without sealing O-ring (replace plug) : 60 Nm (44 ft-lb).
Use 14 mm or 17 mm Allen socket to remove filler plug.

Fill plug to transmission housing: 35 Nm (26 ft-lb)
Drain plug to plastic sump: 8 Nm (6 ft-lb)
ATF sump to transmission housing: 10 Nm (7 ft-lb)

Thermostat to coolant pump: 9 Nm (80 in-lb)
Coolant pump to engine block: 10 Nm (89 in-lb) plus 90 Degree turn
