no i have standard CC as well, but it wont work under 40mph??
i will try it again as it hardly gets used (twice a year sort of thing)

dave mine works for 30mph. I think the manual says that autocruise (standard one) comes on at about 40Km/h. Well the older BMW manuals used to write that down so it may have stuck in memory. That means at 30mph, it should work for you. Wonder if by modifying the ecu could have effected your autocruise. I would certainly get BMW to check it out. Do remember, don't try it below 25mph. It won't kick in.

Nikasil issues on engine blocks is a thing of the past and history only......Should never be a problem with E60's
